1. How do I verify that my converter is functioning properly?
Things to check:
1) Measure 12V to ground on the converter, note voltage. The input voltage should be between 11.4 to 20 VDC with a minimum start up voltage of 12.5 VDC.
2) Measure 24V to ground on the converter, note voltage. The output voltage should be 27.5 VDC.
2. Why is my output voltage low?
Answer: The load is exceeding the 45 amp rating and the unit is going into current limit.
3. Why doesn’t my unit start?
Answer: The 12 volt supply is below the minimum start voltage of 12.5 VDC.
