This is a notification that Vanner has converted to the BYBON GFCI receptacles (Vanner part # 07115) effective immediately to meet the new requirements of UL943.
UL now requires all GFCI receptacles to automatically self-test. All receptacles manufactured after June 29, 2015 will be required to meet the new specification of UL943. To stay in compliance with UL we have qualified, and UL has approved, the BYBON GFCI in the Vanner produced inverters.
Vanner had previously qualified Hubbell GFRST15 GFCI to comply with the UL mandated change. Based on testing and the field performance, Vanner no longer recommends the Hubbell GFCI for use with Vanner inverters.
