Vanner products are rugged, reliable and safe and are designed for extreme, harsh military environments.
Today’s military personnel use the latest surveillance and detection technology to provide a “real-time” assessment of battlefield conditions and advance alert of potential threats. Detection systems depend on a reliable power source and the flexibility to shed and move power from one system to another, as conditions change. The military products below are independent platforms which allow military OEM’s to design customized electrical power management systems to individual customer’s needs.
Equalizers, Converters, Inverters and Inverter Chargers
Military-grade battery equalizers and DC-DC converters, Sinewave inverters and inverter/chargers provide power conversion that meets MIL Standards. Various inverter and inverter/chargers are specially designed for specific AC power needs.
Model Based Battery Monitoring
Model based battery monitoring (MBBM) checks and broadcasts battery state-of-health, state-of-charge, and battery temperature. This military power management system is available as a 12V or 24V stand-alone system with the capability to monitor up to three individual battery banks.
The Vanner MBBM is also available in the 81-series military grade battery equalizer and the SilentWatch power management system.
SilentWatch Engine Off /AC Power Management
SilentWatch supplies dependable power with the vehicle’s engine on or off, designed with the most accurate battery monitoring technology, Vanner MBBM.
SilentWatch provides the warfighter immediate battery reserve energy readings as loads change. This assures that the battery energy required is available, even in extreme and changing conditions. Vanner’s J-1939 CAN Bus communication allows for interface with other onboard electronic devices and telemetry systems .
SilentWatch and an inverter provide continuous AC power from the battery with the engine off. It also constantly monitors battery voltage and state-of-charge with accurate time-to-run data.
