Vanner, a market leader in commercial vehicle electrical system technology, can now offer a 80-Series Equalizer with MBBM™. The 80-Series Equalizer is a 24VDC to 12VDC Equalizer with features of proprietary MBBM™ (Model Based Battery Monitoring) algorithm to determine the SOH (State-of-Health) and SOC (State-of-Charge) of the vehicle’s starter batteries. The Low SOC Disconnect option can send a discrete signal to open a bi-stable contactor if the SOC lowers to a chosen value. It then isolates the starter batteries for a future sure start. SOH and SOC values are communicated via SAE J1939 CAN protocols. Ask your bus OEM for this feature.
