Tech Bulletin LSC12-2000

Subject:LSC12-2000 stated torque (100lb-in) for the DC connections must be closely adhered to or failure may result to the connection during initial installation from over torquing the stud.

Products:

All LSC12-2000 LifeSine® units

Background:

In two instances an installer has over-torqued the DC connection to the point of failure. The use of battery or air driven socket drives must be carefully monitored for their torque imparted on any assembly hardware following the manufacturers torque requirements. The pre-release owner’s manual did not reference a torque specification for the DC input studs.

Solution:

Vanner has added a maximum torque requirement of 100lb-in to the released owner’s manual available for download on the Vanner website. Product Manuals, Tech Bulletin / Addendum
