Lifestar Ambulance Power ModuleVanner is in the heart of “tradeshow season” and, as usual we enjoyed connecting with clients and collaborators at the large FDIC show held annually in Indianapolis, Indiana on March 21-26, 2011.

Many OEMs joined our corporate team and displayed Vanner inverters, inverter/chargers, flashers and converters on their equipment.

The Vanner LifeStar® Ambulance Power Module with built-in 20 amp power supply was spotted on equipment throughout the show.

Some OEMs were even proud enough to display their inverters with signs that read: AC Power by Vanner. Some OEM equipment with Vanner inverters included: Marque, McCoy Miller, AEV, Braun, Wheeled Coach, Road Rescue, Crestline (recently changed to Vanner, and we are glad they did), Horton, Life Line, Medtec and others. Thanks to all!

We enjoyed seeing the new innovations and everyone broke out their ‘new toys.’ The Oshkosh Stryker was a big hit in Lucas Oil Stadium.  Braun Inc. unveiled their new “Hybrid heavy rescue” built on a Navistar Spartan Metro Star chassis. Crestline showed off their new Mux system and the ASV group had many subtle changes to their product design.

The new generation FDNY truck was on display at Wheeled Coach and Pierce/Medtec had a beautiful Ambulance with a Vanner inverter in it.

Attendance at the show set a new record with 28,000 over the two and a half days. We enjoyed speaking with many firefighters — lots of them stopped by just to say how well our equipment works for them.

Many thanks to our partners and we look forward to seeing you next year.
