Vanner recently participated in the NASEMSO (National Association of State EMS Officials) annual meeting in Cleveland Ohio for the first time. Vanner recently joined NASEMSO, as they are instrumental in getting the states to specify the proper equipment for an ambulance. We spent a good deal of our time educating them as to potential safety issues with plastic inverters. Our all aluminum LifeStar™ Ambulance Power Module, built in Columbus Ohio, is far safer than plastic in the case of a thermal event. The event was attended by most of the state directors who also took part in meetings and seminars regarding all things EMS. We made some new friends and will continue to support NASEMSO’s efforts to keep life saving equipment safe and reliable. It was a great event and we look forward to next year’s meeting.
