Vanner was founded in Columbus Ohio, in 1977. Vanner started out supplying electronic flashers to local ambulance manufactures. Vanner soon expanded its product offering to the ambulance market by developing inverters, battery chargers, isolators and auto throttles. In 1984, Vanner expanded into the Transit Bus market with the invention of the battery equalizer. Vanner has grown to become a technology leader in commercial vehicle power conversion and energy management technology, with OEM partners and fleets clients worldwide.
