Vanner this month participated in its’ third Clean Fuels Ohio (CFO) event, this year held at Nationwide Arena. Vanner displayed our IdleWatch®II Idle Reduction System, aimed at reducing idling, and consequently emissions and carbon monoxide, along with showing a tremendous fuel savings. The IdleWatch®II system allows the vehicle to run all of their electric loads, (lights, electric, A/C or heat, etc.) without constant idling of the vehicle.
It has been deployed in several markets with great success, including work trucks, Class 8 semis and ambulances. IdleWatch®II is vehicle and fuel neutral, and easily will retrofit into an existing fleet. We thank CFO for the opportunity to showcase Vanners’ continuing efforts to make us all a little “greener”.
