Municipal snow plows have encountered issues with no-idle bylaws.

To solve this problem, Vanner installed an IdleWatch® in Dodge 3500s to monitor batteries and start vehicle engines only when needed. The vehicle, in this case, also included a traffic advisor, auxiliary fuel tank pump, go-light, and a salt and sand spreader.

The results were a success as the IdleWatch® performed as expected. The overall installation of  IdleWatch® worked well as a no-idle solution for their fleet and the customer was pleased.
