Vanner’s IAP2 advanced technology provides 100% of the accessory electrification for Allison Transmission’s eGen Flex 40/50 and eGen Flex 40/50 Max Electric Hybrid Propulsion Systems by eliminating the belt-driven and hydraulic accessories in the rear bay of the vehicle. All vehicle accessories are powered by the electric hybrid propulsion system and function independently of vehicle operation. This allows for full operation in Zero Emission Zones and bus depots, with geofencing capability up to 10 miles of electric range. The IAP2 provides the highest electrical efficiencies by utilizing the latest Silicon Carbide (SiC) solid-state devices – which yield the lowest energy consumption, longest range, lowest maintenance costs, and much lower CO2 emissions.
An additional cost-savings benefit over the competition is the superior serviceability of IAP2’s modular system. The easy to access components allow for pinpoint troubleshooting and simple replacement.
